Diversity

What would a festival be without the people? At Open Beatz, around 90,000 visitors from various nations come together each year to celebrate their love for electronic music alongside national and international artists as well as newcomers. For us, every single person is important—whether they are visitors, artists, staff, or emergency personnel. With so many people coming together, a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere is especially important to us, where everyone respects one another. Please treat others the way you would like to be treated.

Sustainability

Our festival grounds are located in the heart of nature, surrounded by meadows and forests that are used for agricultural purposes before and after the festival. Protecting this environment remains our top priority. For this reason, we have developed various sustainability initiatives, including:

Deposit system for waste: Ensures that every inch of the festival and camping grounds is free of waste by the end.
Green Camping: A completely waste-free zone where specially marked waste containers assist with sorting, and this process is monitored by our staff.
Efficient water usage Enabled by a closed-cycle system in the sanitation facilities
Environmentally friendly Measures: All beverage and food stands operate exclusively with Reusable dishes or Compostable products
Shuttle buses from Puschendorf station provide a train-based arrival

The most important factor, however, is you. Be a part of our project and support us through your actions by minimizing packaging waste as much as possible, sorting any waste that arises, and disposing of it properly.

In the event of a hazardous situation, such as severe weather, it may be necessary to evacuate the festival grounds. In this case, please pay close attention to announcements over the loudspeakers and follow the instructions of the security staff.

Bei starkem Unwetter begib dich umgehend in dein Fahrzeug und nimm – wenn möglich – auch andere Personen auf. Durch Einschalten der Warnblinkanlage signalisierst du, dass in deinem Fahrzeug noch Plätze frei sind.

To make your VIP experience even better, we offer you the opportunity to reserve your own seating lounge with exclusive table service in our CUPRA x Feser-Graf VIP Lounge at the Caldera Stage. The lounges are available for groups of up to 10 people.

Book your table soon in the MyTicket-Portal or during the checkout process at Ticketshop as a second step, as an additional item.

To take advantage of this offer, you need a VIP ticket.

Add-on item

Add-on items can only be purchased in combination with a festival ticket.

You can add these to your cart in the second step of the checkout process. Alternatively, you can purchase add-on items at any time later in the MyTicket-Portal booking process.

In the table, you can see which ticket can be combined with which add-on item.

Personalization

To prevent fraud, all main tickets and certain add on tickets must be personalised. You can personalise them in your MyTicket-Portal account. You will receive access details in the order confirmation email.

The personalization of your ticket must be completed before the start of the festival.
Only after personalization can you download your ticket from the MyTicket-Portal download.

The following tickets must be personalised: Weekend tickets, day tickets, 2-day tickets and VIP tickets as well as camping, car camping, green camping, VIP table reservations, battery box, helicopter tour and tandem jump.

The following tickets must NOT be personalised: Parking tickets, Ferris wheel flat rate, beer pre-order, and lockers.

A re-personalization of your ticket is possible at any time in the MyTicket-Portal possible.
A fee of €10 applies for this. Please note that this fee is charged separately for each ticket that is re-personalized. Giveaway tickets cannot be personalized to someone else, as we want to prevent the resale of giveaway tickets.

Note: A ticket valid for multiple days is intended for the same person each day and cannot be split between different individuals.

IMPORTANT: The name on your ticket must match the name on your ID! This will be checked at the check-in.

Ticket Upgrade / Ticket Exchange

If you want to upgrade or exchange your ticket, please proceed as follows:

  1. Send an email to: ticket@openbeatz.de with the subject line 'Ticket Upgrade or Ticket Exchange'
  2. Provide the following information:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Ticketnumber
• Ticket you would like to upgrade to

Then you will receive an email with the subject line 'Ticket Reservation'.

Here, the difference between the price of your current ticket and the new ticket will be calculated. An additional €12.90 will be charged for ticket and processing fees. This amount must be paid within 7 business days. Beachte bitte, dass die Tickets davor personalisiert werden müssen. 

After that, your old ticket will be deactivated, and you will receive the new one. You can then download it from your MyTicket portal. Please note that processing may take 7-10 business days.

A ticket downgrade is not possible! This means you can only exchange tickets for the same category or upgrade to a higher ticket category.

Ticket Loss / Ticket Issues"

If you have lost your ticket or can no longer find it, simply open your MyTicket-Portalaccount. There, you can download your ticket again at any time. Access to your MyTicket-Portal can be found in your order confirmation email. Simply search your emails for 'TicketPay'.

If you cannot find the email, you can retrieve it from the Ticketshop top right under 'Help,' you can request new access to be sent to the email address you provided during your purchase.

If you encounter any issues with your order or ticket, please send us an email at ticket@openbeatz.de with the following information:

  • Ticket number / Order number in the subject line
  • First and last name
  • Description of the issue
  • Provide the email address used to purchase the ticket
Ticket refund

Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, you have the option of reselling your ticket via the MyTicketPortal from TicketPay.

Parkingticket / Car Camping

Parkingtickets
You can purchase parking tickets on site at the parking entrance. Payment is made exclusively in cash. Spending the night in the parking lot (in the car) is strictly prohibited.

The parking lot and the campsite are located next to each other, keeping the walk from your car to the camping entrance to just 5 minutes.

Car Camping 
With the Car Camping Pass, you are allowed to park your vehicle—whether it's a car, motorhome, caravan, or trailer—directly on the campsite. A Car Camping Pass is required for each motorized vehicle (e.g., car + caravan = 1 pass). Each occupant of the vehicle must also have an individual Camping Pass. Re-entry to the Car Camping area is not permitted once you leave. You may set up a maximum of three tents and one pavilion (4×4 meters) next to your vehicle.

Hardtickets

Tickets can also be purchased as hard tickets. A printing fee of €1.00 per ticket applies. Shipping costs start at €2.95.

You can check if you ordered a hard ticket in your MyTicket portal. If there is no printer icon displayed under 'Ticket Type,' it means you have a hard ticket. Purchasing hard tickets at a later time is not possible.

Attention: Hard tickets will only be shipped once all tickets in the order have been personalized.

Box office

There will be no box office on-site. All tickets can only be purchased online through the Ticketshop platform. If tickets are not sold out before the festival, they can still be purchased online on the festival day through the Ticketshop purchased, but at higher rates.

Resident Tickets

50% discount on resident tickets:
As a small thank-you, we would like to invite residents from Höfen, Zweifelsheim, Puschendorf, Tuchenbach, Pirkach, and Mausdorf to the Open Beatz Festival 2025 at discounted rates.

Please understand that we require a copy or photo of the front and back of your ID card to verify your place of residence.

Applications must be submitted no later than July 15th, 2025. Late applications will not be processed. Additionally, these tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.

STUDENT DISCOUNT

As a student, you can register with our partner Uniheld and receive a 15% discount on your ticket. A certificate of enrolment is required to register with Uniheld.

People with disabilities

People with disabilities who rely on an accompanying person receive a free weekend ticket for themselves. The accompanying person is not free. Please send us an email with proof to ticket@openbeatz.de.

Ticket Refund

All tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the festival, you can resell your ticket (see Resale / Purchase from Third Parties).

Resale / Purchase from Third Parties

Tickets can only be resold through the MyTicket-Portal TicketPay platform. Resale through other platforms, such as Ticketswap, classifieds, or similar, is not possible because these platforms do not allow the email address to be changed, and therefore the ticket cannot be re-personalized.

Sale to Strangers
The easiest way to resell your ticket is through the official Resale Shop of TicketPayplatform. There, you can list your ticket for sale without having to search for a buyer or handle the payment process. Once the ticket is sold and the payment is received by TicketPay, they will transfer the amount to your specified bank account.

Follow these steps:

  1. MyTicket-Portal access
  2. Click on the 'To Ticket' button
  3. On the right, click 'Resell Ticket'
  4. Ticket auswählen
  5. Click on 'Resell'
  6. Fill in the details and click 'Start Resale'

Sale or Transfer to Friends
If you have a specific person who should receive your ticket, you must transfer the ticket through the MyTicket-Portal re-personalize it accordingly. Please note that the person will not be able to add any add-on items, as access to the MyTicket-Portal will still be associated with your email address.

Fees for reselling before personalization: 12.5% of the original purchase price
Fees for resale after personalization: 12.5% plus a €10 re-personalization fee

If your ticket hasn’t been personalized yet, you can simply personalize it for the person who is supposed to have it. Just go to the MyTicket portal, select the ticket you want to transfer, and enter the new owner's details.

ATTENTION: Tickets won cannot be transferred or re-personalized

Purchase from third parties
Please never purchase a ticket from other platforms such as Ticketswap, classifieds, or any other platforms, as the risk of fraud is extremely high. Additionally, on other sales platforms, the name on the ticket is not changed and therefore not re-personalized to your name. This means you will not have access to the festival, as the name on the ticket will not match the name on your ID. Furthermore, you will not have the option to purchase add-on items afterwards.

Access to the Festival Grounds

With your wristband, you can enter and leave the festival grounds as often as you like – depending on your ticket type.
Example:
Weekend Ticket - Access to the festival grounds on all three festival days, unlimited entries.
Dayticket Friday - Access to the festival grounds on Friday, unlimited entries throughout the day.

Festival

Check-In

Check-in for all visitors (except Car Camping) takes place centrally at the Check-In Container. This container has several counters, divided by ticket category. Check-in for Car Camping is signposted separately. 

To check in, you’ll need your personalized ticket and your ID card / passport. The ticket can be shown either in printed form or digitally on your smartphone.

Please make sure that your ticket is personalized and downloaded before checking in. The name on the ticket must match the name on your ID – otherwise, you will not be granted entry.

Age restriction

Admission to the Open Beatz Festival is now open. 16 years permitted. However, minors aged 16 or 17 require a legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. alt sein muss. Beide müssen sich mit einem gültigen Lichtbildausweis ausweisen und zusammen am Check-In erscheinen, um ihre Festivalbändchen abzuholen. Falls der/die Minderjährige später ankommt, muss die Aufsichtsperson das Gelände verlassen und gemeinsam mit ihm zum Check-In gehen.

The legal guardian is not allowed to be intoxicated and must remain near the minor throughout the entire festival. A guardian can only supervise one minor. Teenagers under the age of 16 are not allowed entry, even if accompanied by a legal guardian.

Consent form
Bringing food and beverages

No food or beverages may be brought onto the festival area.
Exceptions are allowed in cases of illness. Please provide the appropriate documentation as proof.

Sanitary facilities

There will be no portable toilets (Dixi toilets) on the festival grounds — only free flush toilets will be available. All stages will have plenty of toilets and handwashing stations. Additionally, all sanitary facilities will offer free drinking water at the taps, which you can fill into your collapsible water pouches.

Safety & Prohibited Items

Security Check
We will conduct enhanced security checks at the entrances. Please allow extra time for this. Prohibited items (list below) are not allowed on the premises.

Don’t drink and drive!
In addition, there will be increased traffic checks after the festival ends.

  • Backpacks (except for waist bags and festival/gym bags, approximately A4 size)
  • Beverages of any kind
  • Food of any kind
  • Pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, torches, flares, and sky lanterns

  • Bulky items, such as flagpoles
  • Umbrellas or helmets
  • Campingequipment (z.B. Campingstühle)
  • Bottles, hydration packs, cans, and Tetra Paks of any kind (except for foldable bottles made of soft material, which cannot be used as projectiles, are allowed on the premises if empty)
  • Glass containers
  • Political or religious items of any kind
  • Weapons of any kind (including in the technical sense)
  • Megaphones and vuvuzelas
  • Drones
  • Dry ice
  • Spirits, gasoline, or other flammable liquids
  • Professional photo, film, video cameras, and audio recording devices (digital cameras and GoPros are allowed)
  • Banners, signs, symbols, or leaflets of any kind (signs supporting your favorite artist are, of course, allowed)
  • Shishas of any kind
  • Deodorant spray/hairspray (sunscreen and deodorant roll-ons are allowed)
  • As well as any other dangerous items of any kind

Danger situation
In the event of a dangerous situation, such as a storm, the area may need to be evacuated. In this case, please pay attention to announcements over the loudspeakers and follow the instructions of the security personnel. Remain calm and proceed quickly to the exits or emergency exits.

In the event of a storm, please head to the parking lot. If you arrived by car, get into your vehicle and take other people with you. By turning on your hazard lights, you signal that there is still space in your vehicle.

Bringing Medication

Bringing medication is only permitted in exceptional cases and requires appropriate documentation.
Example: Diabetics are allowed to bring their insulin syringes. Mobility aids such as crutches are also permitted if the person depends on them. Nicht erlaubt sind hingegen Thrombosespritzen.

Lockers

You can book lockers as an additional item to your main ticket, either directly during the purchase process or later on in the system MyTicket-Portal. If there are still remaining units available, you can also purchase them on-site with cash.

Drugs

We have a zero-tolerance policy! Anyone caught with illegal drugs will be handed over to the police and will be denied access to the festival grounds or campsite.

Auf dem Festivalgelände werden Sanitäter:innen, Feuerwehr und Polizei anwesend sein. Die genauen Standorte kannst du zwei Wochen vor Beginn dem Lageplan entnehmen.

Walking Distances

All paths on the festival grounds are relatively short and easy to walk. You can reach all key areas within just a few minutes. For example, it’s no more than a 5-minute walk from the parking area to the festival entrance, and no more than 10 minutes from the campsite.

Mobile Service / Cell Towers

Um ein stabiles Netz zu gewährleisten, stellen die Telekom, Vodafone und O2 Funktmasten auf dem Gelände auf. Dadurch sind alle verfügbaren Netze abgedeckt.

FestiTent makes sure your 1-, 2-, or 4-person tent is already set up when you arrive at Open Beatz. You’ll also have extra space next to your tent – perfect for setting up a 3×3 meter pavilion, for example.

Check-In
At check-in, you will register at the FestiTent reception, where you will check your tent with a host and fill out a form.

Check-Out
At check-out, the condition of the tent will be inspected again. If the tent is undamaged, you will receive your deposit back. Depending on the payment method, it may take up to 5 weeks for the deposit to be refunded to your account.

Mit dem Car Camping Pass darfst du dein Fahrzeug – egal ob Auto, Wohnmobil, Wohnwagen oder Anhänger – direkt auf dem Campingplatz abstellen. Pro motorisiertem Fahrzeug wird ein Car Camping Pass benötigt (Beispiel: Auto + Wohnwagen = 1 Pass). Zusätzlich benötigt jede im Fahrzeug mitreisende Person einen eigenen Camping Pass.

Please note:
– Mehrfache Ein- und Ausfahrten auf den Car Camping Platz sind nicht möglich.
– Du darfst neben deinem Fahrzeug maximal drei Zelte und ein Pavillon (max. 4×4 Meter) aufbauen.
– Mit einem normalen Camping Pass darfst du deine Freunde im Car Camping Bereich besuchen und auch dort übernachten – die Maximalgrenze von drei Zelten und einem Pavillon pro Fahrzeug darf jedoch nicht überschritten werden.

Please note: Achte bei deiner Anreise unbedingt auf die Hinweisschilder „Zufahrt Car Camping“.

green camping

The green camping area is a quiet and clean zone with No-Waste-Policy and Quiet-Zone-Regulation. Ideal for anyone looking to recharge in between. All Green Camping guests are required to separate their waste and keep their area clean. Compliance is regularly checked by our staff.

Important information about Green Camping:

  • Tickets are limited to 500 pieces.
  • Night rest: 00:00 am - 09:00 am
  • 2x daily site inspection by our team

With the Green Camping Ticket, you must camp in your designated spot but are free to visit friends in other areas at any time.

Check-In

All guests check in at a centrally located container. It will have multiple counters for the different ticket categories. For check-in, you will need your personalized Ticket and your ID card/passport. The ticket can be shown either in printed form or digitally on your smartphone.

Please make sure that your ticket is personalized and downloaded. The name on the ticket must match the name on your ID; otherwise, entry will not be allowed.

Different arrival times of a group.
Please try to arrive together so you can set up your tents next to each other. It is not possible to reserve space for each other, as the campsite is filled dynamically.

Garbage fee

The garbage fee will now be included in the regular camping pass. This means you no longer have to pay a garbage fee or garbage deposit on site. Everyone is responsible for keeping their place clean. There will be several garbage stations on site where you can drop off your garbage.

Help us keep the area clean by separating your waste properly into:

You will receive waste bags at the check-in.

Sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities at the campsite are equipped with showers and toilets. You’ll also find sinks with mirrors and power outlets for hairdryers, straighteners, and more.

Access to the sanitary facilities is included in the price of the camping ticket.

Campsite layout

The entire campsite is divided into individual plots. Security personnel will assign you a spot where you can set up your tent. Afterward, you are free to move around the entire campsite and visit friends in other plots.

Tent size

We kindly ask you to take up only as much space as necessary. As a guideline, at least 2 people should stay in a 2-3 person tent. Oversized tents (e.g., multi-family tents) with more than 8 sleeping spaces are not allowed.

Generators

Generators are only allowed in connection with a Car Camping Ticket .

The generator must be secured on a pallet. Additionally, the fuel cans must be stored in appropriate containers inside the vehicle and cannot be placed directly on the ground. The amount of fuel allowed per car for a generator is limited to 20 liters.

Additionally, a powder fire extinguisher is required. It must be securely stored in the car and comply with the valid regulations.

Alternatively, you can rent our battery cases. These can be rented at the MyTicket-Portal under "Battery Box" as an add-on.

Open fire & grilling

Das Grillen auf dem Camping Platz ist grundsätzlich erlaubt, offenes Feuer hingegen verboten. Ebenso sind Benzin, Spiritus oder andere brennbare Flüssigkeiten verboten. Es sind nur handelsübliche Klein-Kompaktgrills erlaubt. Gasflaschen sind ebenfalls verboten. Erlaubt sind lediglich Gaskartuschen bis 450 Gramm.

Our security team will monitor compliance with the quiet hours. In case of violations, a warning will be issued first. Repeated violations may result in the confiscation of music equipment or removal from the campsite.

You have the option to rent a locker with power and/or USB connections. You can add lockers as an additional item to your main ticket, either during the purchase process or later in the system. MyTicket-Portal.

Bringing food and beverages

Auf den Campingplatz dürfen Speisen und Getränke mitgenommen werden, solange diese sich nicht in Glasverpackungen befinden. Spirituosen jeglicher Art sind grundsätzlich nicht erlaubt, da wir uns hier an behördliche Auflagen halten müssen.

The campsite offers free water stations. Additionally, there will once again be an Edeka supermarket available.

Fun Area

On the campsite, our massive Fun Area awaits you – the perfect place to let loose, compete, and have an amazing time together. Look forward to drinking games, gaming stations, and crazy challenges where you can compete with your friends. Included:

How to get to the Open Beatz Festival
There are many ways to travel to the Open Beatz Festival. The most common ways of travelling are by carby bus or by train. Detailed information and helpful tips can be found below.

You can also have someone bring you comfortably and use our Kiss & Ride area .
For all those who travel by bicycle there is a bicycle parking area directly at the festival site.

Arrival by car

If you are traveling by car, the route will take you through the village of “Höfen.” Access to the festival grounds will be signposted from all directions

parking & prices

You can buy your parking ticket on site - exclusively in cash. Bitte halte den Betrag möglichst passend bereit, damit die Einfahrt schnell und reibungslos funktioniert. Nach dem Bezahlen erhält jedes Fahrzeug ein Parkticket, das has to be placed visible behind the windscreen gelegt werden muss. Damit kannst du am Parkplatz jederzeit rein- uns rausfahren.

Day Parking: 20,00 €
Weekend Parking: 30,00 €

Even if you weren't able to get a parking ticket in advance, there's no need to worry. There are plenty of parking spaces available, so everyone will be able to find a spot.

If you have a Weekend Parking Ticket, you don't have to come with the same car every day. You can also use the parking ticket for a different vehicle and arrive with it the next day.

Attention:

  • All holders of a Car Camping Ticket are exempt from parking fees. The entrance for Car Camping Ticket holders is clearly marked with separate signage.
  • All vehicles remaining in the parking lot after 8:00 PM on Monday will be towed at the owner's expense.
  • Trailers are not permitted in the car park
  • Overnight stays in vehicles in the parking lot are strictly prohibited!
Arrival by bus

Arrival by Train

If you are travelling by train, then travel to the train station Puschendorf. From there it is only about 2 kilometres to the festival site. A free shuttle bus will then take you from Puschendorf train station to the festival site. You can find information on the shuttle's journey times below.

Extra Trains / Night Trains

Deutsche Bahn will operate special trains at night after the festival, departing from Puschendorf station towards Nuremberg Central Station and Neustadt (Aisch). From there, you can catch connecting trains, for example to Erlangen.

Arrival:
On Thursday and Friday, a shuttle bus will run every hour from Puschendorf station to the festival site - between 10:00 and 16:00 after the trains arrive.

Departure:
On Monday, a shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes from the festival site to Puschendorf railway station between 07:00 and 12:00.

The shuttle bus is free of charge.
Please note: Handcarts and similar items are not permitted on the shuttle bus.

Kiss & Ride (pick-up and drop-off zone)

Wenn du gebracht oder abgeholt wirst, nutze bitte ausschließlich die Kiss & Ride Zone. Diese befindet sich direkt vor der Einfahrt zum Parkplatz und ist ausgeschildert. Dort kann dein Fahrer kurz halten, dich sicher ein- oder aussteigen lassen – Permanent parking or long-term waiting is not permitted.!

Arrival by taxi

If you want to travel by taxi, you can use the taxi zone to be dropped off. This is located near the Kiss + Ride zone.

It is not possible to take a taxi directly to the festival entrance.

Please note: Es ist strengstens untersagt, auf den Hauptstraßen in Richtung der umliegenden Orte (Zweifelsheim, Puschendorf oder Höfen) zu laufen, um sich dort abholen zu lassen. Bitte nutze hierfür die Kiss & Ride Zone.

Arrival by bike

If you would like to arrive by bikcycle as a day guest, simply follow the signs to the festival site. There is a designated bicycle parking on site where you can park your bike. This is located next to the check-in.

It is not possible to park your bike directly at the festival entrance!

Night Bus

On Saturday and Sunday night there will be night buses at the end of the festival, which will take you to Fürth, Erlangen, Herzogenaurach and Nuremberg .

Tickets for the night buses can be bought online in advance via our partner HICLIVE You can find all information about journey times, stops and booking directly at HICLIVE.

Cashless

This is how it works
STEP 1: CREATE ACCOUNT

Create an account in the Open Beatz app, log in, and navigate to the "Cashless" section on the homepage. There you will find a step-by-step guide on how to synchronize your ticket with the Cashless Wallet.

You will need your already existing details for registration in the Open Beatz Identity Portal. personalized Ticket. This need to be scan and a or uploaded or you type your ticketcode in. Only one ticket per person or guest can be managed in the event portal.

Alternative you can use it without the app and only top-up the bracelet. Register for this in Eventportal and use the top-up feature on the website.

STEP 2: TOP UP / LOAD MONEY

After linking your ticket with your Cashless Wallet, you will find the "Top Up" button at the bottom of the menu bar „Cashless Wallet“.

Here you can conveniently top up your chip using the available payment methods in advance. The top-up is possible before and during the festival. We recommend topping up before the festival.

You will receive your festival wristband with the RFID chip directly at check-in on the event day. Your festival ticket will be scanned as usual, and you will receive your wristband with the chip. All information, such as Pre-Top Up, ticket category, Ferris wheel pass, etc., will be stored on your chip. In addition to top-up in the app, you can also use on-site top-up stations. There, you can load your balance with an EC or credit card or with cash.

No activation fee is charged.

STEP 3: PAYING ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS / CAMPING SITE

With the balance on the RFID chip of your festival wristband, you can conveniently and contactlessly pay at all merchandise, food, non-food, or beverage stands.

This means: No rummaging through your wallet, no losing money, and no time spent by staff on giving change.

WHAT DOES Cashless mean?
What is Cashless Payment?

Cashless Payment is cashless payment using an RFID chip located on your festival wristband. With it, you can easily and conveniently pay for everything on the entire festival grounds, from beer to T-shirts.

Why do we use Cashless Payment?

Cashless Payment offers you many advantages: Since all payments on the festival grounds are cashless, the processes at counters and stands are faster, reducing waiting times.

Your advantages are:

  • No cash and no bank cards that you could lose while partying.
  • Your balance is safely stored on your wristband.
  • Reduced waiting time at the stands.
  • Maximum transparency – all transaction receipts can only be viewed by you online.
  • Additional credit can be topped up online in the app or at one of the top-up stations on the festival grounds.
Can I still pay with cash?

You can top up your festival wristband with cash at the Cash Top Up stations. You can find their locations on the map in our app. The payment process itself is only possible with the RFID chip on your festival wristband.

How do you handle my data?

We place a high value on the protection of your data. Every use of the chip, such as top-ups or purchasing a drink, is recorded, meaning you are not completely anonymous.

However, you don't need to worry, as this data is kept secure and will not be shared with third parties.

We comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

As soon as your personal data is no longer needed for providing services, processing payments, and managing remaining balances, and there are no legal retention requirements, it will be deleted.

How do I register for Cashless Payment?

Download our app. There you will have access to the Cashless Wallet.

We recommend registering your ticket in the app in advance and topping up your Cashless Wallet to enjoy your festival experience without long waiting times at top-up stations.

To top up your chip on-site, you do not need to register.

You should do this by the end of the event at the latest to receive your remaining balance after the event. You can do this in the app within your Cashless Wallet.

Important: You will need the ticket number for registration.

How can I top up my balance before Open Beatz?

To top up before the event, simply download the Open Beatz app, register once with your ticket number, and you'll have access to all features. From there, navigate to your Cashless Wallet and select "Top up balance." This will save you time on-site and allow you to enjoy the festival right away.

How can I top up my balance at the festival?

You can top up your balance on the festival grounds anytime for free in the Open Beatz app. It’s best to top up in advance, so when you exchange your ticket for the wristband, your balance is already on the chip.

If you top up your balance through the app during the event, it will be available on your chip as soon as you connect your wristband to a cashier or top-up station again. Simply continue as usual, and your money will be on your chip by the time of your next order at the counter.

Additionally, you will find top-up stations on the festival grounds where you can load your chip using EC, credit, or debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

At the main festival entrance and the camping check-in, you will find the troubleshooting stations, which are also cash top-up stations. Here, you can load your chip with cash.

You can find all the stations on the festival map in the Open Beatz app (released 1-2 weeks before the festival).

How can you view/track a topped-up balance?

You can view your current balance and past transactions anytime in your Cashless Wallet in the Open Beatz app. Additionally, you can check your balance at the top-up stations by simply holding your chip to the reader.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount for top-ups?

To give you as much flexibility as possible, there is no limit on the amount you can top up.

However, we recommend topping up a bit more money than you are likely to need, so you always have enough balance. Any unused balance can be refunded free of charge at the end.

In which currency is payment made, and at what exchange rate will my money be exchanged?

Payment / booking is made in Euro and there are no opaque exchange rate differences.

MANAGING THE BALANCE
When will I get my money back?

A few days after the festival (exact date will be announced), you can request your remaining balance through your Cashless Wallet in the Open Beatz app or on the event portal Eventportal .

We have chosen Direct Refund, meaning your money will be automatically refunded to the payment method you used to top up.

The balance will be credited within 24-48 hours after the request.

If you only topped up with cash on-site, you will be asked to provide an account to which your remaining balance will be transferred.

The balance will be credited within 14 days after the request.

You pay a fee of €0.00!

There is no minimum payout. The chip can be removed from the wristband after the festival. However, it should be kept until the refund has been fully processed!

Can I use the remaining balance next year??

No, the balance cannot be used next year. Please request the refund promptly after the event.

PAYMENT
How do I pay with the chip?

The staff at the stands will take your order and show you the amount to be deducted from your balance. Then, you hold your chip to the device to confirm the purchase and initiate the payment. Afterward, your remaining balance will be displayed, and you will receive your ordered items. If you wish to give a tip, you must explicitly say so and hold your wristband to the device again.

What happens if an incorrect amount is deducted??

If you notice that an incorrect amount has been charged, please speak directly to the staff so the transaction can be canceled, and the correct amount can be charged. If this is not possible, please visit the Troubleshooting Station, which is located at the main entrance and the camping entrance.

How does the cup deposit system work?

We charge a deposit of €1.50 on our reusable cups. This amount will be deducted from your balance for each drink ordered. When you return your cup, the deposit will be refunded. You can also return multiple cups.

Problems with my wristband
My chip is not working

If your chip is defective or you have any other problems with your wristband, please go to the Trouble Shooting Container. The staff there can deactivate your old chip and issue you a new wristband with a new chip.

How can I block my balance??

If you want to block your chip and the credit on it, you must go to the Trouble Shooting Container. The employees there can block the chip for you.

1. Respectful interaction: Treat all people with respect and dignity. Be mindful of personal boundaries and consider the diversity of identities and backgrounds.

2. Principle of consent: Any form of physical contact should be based on mutual consent. Always ensure that communication and interactions are welcome.

3. Intervention in case of misconduct: If you witness any form of inappropriate behavior or discrimination, you are encouraged to intervene if safely possible or inform security personnel.

4. Zero tolerance for discrimination: Any form of discrimination – whether based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or other characteristics – will not be tolerated.

CODE OF CONDUCT PRINCIPLES

Rules of conduct:

1. Prohibition of violence: Physical or verbal violence is strictly prohibited. This includes threats, intimidating behavior, and any form of harassment.

2. No discriminatory remarks: Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other derogatory comments or jokes will not be tolerated.

3. Alcohol and drugs: Moderate consumption of alcohol is expected. The use of illegal drugs is prohibited.

4. Offer help and be attentive: If you see people in distress, offer your help or inform the security personnel.

5. Photography and videos: Consent must be obtained from individuals before photographing or filming them. Pay particular attention to areas where photography or filming may be completely prohibited.

6. Adherence to staff instructions: Instructions from the festival staff and security personnel must be followed, especially regarding safety matters and interventions.

7. Handling of the venue: Be environmentally conscious and respect nature. Do not leave any trash behind and use the designated facilities.

By attending the festival all participants commit to follow the principles and ruleso ensure an atmosphere of safety, respect, and inclusion for all. Violations of these principles may result in exclusion from the festival.

If you're feeling unwell – physically or mentally – you can always turn to our awareness team from the Red Cross. You’ll find contact points at all medical tents. Our paramedics can be recognized by their red pants, red jackets, and white shirts – they also patrol the festival grounds. In the medical areas, we also offer psychosocial emergency care. They’re always there for you – with support, a listening ear, and medical assistance if needed.

Problems linking Cashless Wallet

Are you having problems linking your Cashless Wallet in the app? Then please make sure of the following:

- Are you logged in to the app? You have to log in to connect your cashless wallet.
- Is the app up to date? If not, please make an update.
- Have you entered the correct ticket number? You will find the ticket number on your personalised, downloaded ticket.
- Has the ticket number already been added to the app on another mobile phone? Each ticket number can only be linked once in the app.
